The Macon County 2025 LMIG Cutoff Road Resurfacing project involves the resurfacing of two sections of Cutoff Road. Section 1 consists of 2.4 miles of patching and leveling the existing surface treatment pavement and topping with hot mix asphalt surface, while Section 2 consists of 1.5 miles of patching the existing hot mix asphalt pavement and topping with hot mix asphalt surface, along with two repair patches on Kitchens Road. The project requires a bid bond of at least 5% of the total bid amount, and the successful bidder must execute the contract and provide performance and payment bonds within 15 days of being notified of the award.
