PIGA Float Assembly Repair Program

The U.S. Air Force is seeking a contractor to support the repair line for the Pendulous Integrated Gyroscopic Accelerometer (PIGA) Float Assembly, a critical component of the Minuteman III (MMIII) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) system. The contractor will provide personnel, facilities, and expertise to repair PIGA Float Assemblies, with a primary scope that includes repair operations, volume/throughput, and government-furnished equipment (GFE) repair and replacement. The contract is anticipated to be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 5-year duration and a mix of Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) pricing arrangements. Key aspects of the job include: • Repair Operations: re-manufacture, rebuild, and repair of PIGA Float Assemblies • Volume/Throughput: repair of 96 PIGA Floats per year • Government Furnished Equipment (GFE): repair and/or replacement of GFE as required to support continuous operation of the PIGA Float repair line
