Atchafalaya Basin Construction – Bayou Sale East West Tie-In

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is seeking qualified and experienced industry partners to perform construction work for the Atchafalaya Basin Construction – Bayou Sale East West Tie-In project. The project involves constructing approximately 0.5 miles of levee along the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, including raising the levee to an elevation of 10-15 ft NAVD88, access road and haul route improvements, levee embankment construction, slope grading, ditch improvements, access ramp realignment, site clearing and grubbing, erosion control measures, and site preparation and compaction activities. • The estimated magnitude of construction is approximately $1 to 5M for Phase 1. • The project is intended to improve levee grade and stability while maintaining safe access to adjacent facilities. • Interested firms are invited to submit a capability statement addressing firm information, business size and socioeconomic category, representations regarding government contract participation, relevant construction experience, equipment and resources, bonding capability, and submission format. • Responses shall not exceed 10 pages and shall be submitted as a single PDF file.
