SS7497 Mill Creek Pump Station

The City of Columbia is soliciting bids for the replacement and upsizing of existing pumps, standby generator, and other miscellaneous improvements to the Mill Creek Pump Station. The project includes the installation of a new HVAC system, construction of a partition wall, and installation of a restroom facility. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the project. The city has set a goal of 15% participation for historically disadvantaged business enterprises. * Replacement of four existing drywell pumps with new 280-HP pumps * Installation of a 1 MW natural gas backup generator * Construction of a steel platform for the generator and a new pad-mounted transformer * Installation of a HVAC system and air conditioning units * Construction of a partition wall and a restroom facility * Replacement of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and electrical upgrades
