Fort Scott Municipal Airport; Replace Taxiway Edge Lighting System

The City of Fort Scott is seeking bids to replace the edge lighting system on the taxiway at Fort Scott Municipal Airport. The work includes removal of existing stake‑mounted and base‑mounted lights, installation of new lighting cables and conduit, and associated electrical work. This contract is intended for firms experienced in airport lighting, electrical conduit installation, and related civil construction activities. • Remove 110 stake‑mounted and 8 base‑mounted lights. • Install approximately 13,013 linear feet of 1/C No. 8 AWG 5 kV cable in conduit. • Install non‑encased, 2‑in. Schedule 40 and 2‑in. Schedule 80 conduit with minimum 24‑in. cover, totaling over 22,000 LF of conduit work. • Provide all labor, material, testing, and documentation required for a fully functional taxiway edge lighting system compliant with FAA standards.
