Description
The City of Wheaton is seeking competitive bids to furnish and install cured‑in‑place pipe (CIPP) liners throughout its sanitary and storm sewer collection system. The contract includes material supply, traffic control, sewer cleaning, CCTV inspection, bypass pumping, installation of CIPP liners, reinstatement of service lateral connections, chemical grouting of connections, removal of protruding taps, and post‑installation testing and warranty work. The project covers approximately 5,870 linear feet of sewer mains, 110 service lateral reinstatements, and 4 protruding tap removals, with a start in November 2026 and final completion by 19 February 2027. Bidders must demonstrate extensive CIPP experience, provide a 10 % bid bond, and meet prevailing‑wage and insurance requirements.

• Mandatory qualifications: ≥150,000 ft CIPP installed, ≥2,000 lateral reinstatements, ≥3 yr CIPP experience, certified installers, NASSCO‑certified CCTV operators.
• Bonds: 10 % bid bond; payment and performance bonds at 110 % of award.
