On-Call Engineering Services

The Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (ALCOSAN) is seeking on-call engineering services to support various projects and activities administered by the Division of Engineering and Construction. The selected consultants will provide engineering services on an as-needed basis, including civil, environmental, geotechnical, mechanical, structural, architectural, and electrical/instrumentation disciplines. The scope of services may include project management, preliminary design, final design, construction phase engineering support, condition assessment, and permitting support. • The selected consultants will be expected to provide services for the ALCOSAN Regional Conveyance system, including interceptors, trunk sewers, manholes, regulator structures, outfalls, and pumping facilities and force mains. • The consultants will also provide services for the ALCOSAN Wastewater Treatment Plant, including annual plant and safety required upgrades. • ALCOSAN is seeking a pool of up to eight qualified firms to support the various scope items. • The selected consultants will be required to commit to utilizing 10-25% of the contract budget for businesses owned and operated by minorities and women, and 3% service-disabled veteran small business enterprises.
