Directed Energy Deposition JBK-75 Representative Process Samples and Component Builds

The NASA/NSSC is seeking a contractor to provide Directed Energy Deposition JBK-75 Representative Process Samples and Component Builds. The contractor will be required to fabricate witness test specimens, provide engineering support, and demonstrate LP-DED using a large-scale machine platform. The contract will be for a period of 6 months, and the contractor will be required to deliver witness coupons, build reports, and other deliverables to the Marshall Space Flight Center. The key aspects of the job include: • Fabrication of witness test specimens using JBK-75 and NASA HR-1 alloys • Provision of engineering support for LP-DED • Demonstration of LP-DED using a large-scale machine platform • Delivery of witness coupons and build reports • Compliance with NASA specifications and requirements
