RFQ #26-01 - Solid Waste Cleanup and Abatement

The County of Siskiyou is seeking pre‑qualified contractors to perform solid‑waste cleanup and abatement services throughout the county. The work is funded under the Farm and Ranch Solid Waste Cleanup and Abatement Grant Program and will be called on an “as‑needed” basis after contractors are placed on a qualification pool. Contractors must be able to handle hazardous‑material identification and removal, a wide range of waste types, and fence installation, while complying with utility‑notification, bonding, insurance, and prevailing‑wage requirements. • Provide asbestos evaluation/abatement, waste removal (vehicles, appliances, e‑waste, hazardous waste, etc.), and fence/gate installation. • Must supply all labor, equipment, permits, insurance, performance bond (≥100 % of contract price), and utility‑locate services. • Maximum budget per site is $50,000; up to four sites per fiscal year, with liquidated damages of $500 per day for delays.
