RFP 26-35-005 CBMPO 2055 MTP Update

Bartow County is seeking a consultant to provide planning and engineering design services for the Cartersville Bartow Metropolitan Planning Organization FY 2055 Metropolitan Transportation Plan update. The selected consultant will assist the county with specific planning and engineering tasks related to the development of a federal- and locally compliant Metropolitan Transportation Plan. The scope of work includes developing new MTP documents, conducting public outreach and involvement, and analyzing transportation needs and priorities. The consultant will also be responsible for preparing and submitting the plan to the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration for approval. • The consultant will develop and prepare outreach materials and communication content for distribution through multiple platforms. • The consultant will conduct public outreach and involvement efforts to solicit community input regarding transportation needs, priorities, and concerns. • The consultant will analyze transportation needs and priorities and develop recommendations for the MTP. • The consultant will prepare and submit the MTP to the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration for approval.
