Description
The City of Austin is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a comprehensive overhaul of a vertical turbine pump used in municipal water and wastewater operations. The scope of work includes disassembly, inspection, repair, and replacement of worn or damaged components, as well as coating and corrosion protection. The contractor will be required to provide electronic communications and document submittals, including progress updates, reports, and photographs. The contract term shall continue in effect until all obligations are performed in accordance with the Contract. Key requirements include:
• Minimum 3 years of experience performing overhauls on vertical turbine pumps of similar size and complexity
• Minimum 3 years of experience handling NSF-61 certified coatings and potable water applications
• Ability to provide electronic communications and document submittals
• Ability to provide effective communication throughout the overhaul process
• Compliance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications
