Description
The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a contractor to replace the flooring at the Head Start Hattie Fields facility. The project includes removing existing Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) and Vinyl Sheet Flooring (VSF), preparing the substrate, and installing new flooring, including Marmoleum Composite Tile (MCT) and VCT. The contractor must also provide new cove base, thresholds, and transition strips. The project must be completed within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
• The contractor must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on August 12, 2026.
• The contractor must submit a bid bond in the amount of at least 5% of the bid price.
• The contractor must provide a public construction bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract amount.
• The contractor must comply with the County's Small Business Development Program and submit the required schedules.
• The contractor must provide a Certificate of Occupancy or Certificate of Completion prior to final payment.
