The Seattle Public Library – Central Exterior Window Cleaning

The Seattle Public Library is seeking a vendor to provide on-call and as-needed glass cleaning service on the exterior of the downtown Central Library. The cleaning work will be provided approximately twice per year, in the spring and the fall. The scope includes the cleaning of all glass, mullions, finished aluminum, louvers, gutters, and steel frames. The vendor shall perform inspection of each curtain wall, including all components. Key responsibilities include: • Providing materials, equipment, and labor for exterior window cleaning • Cleaning and restoring clarity to the glass curtain wall and entranceways • Exercising extreme care in the performance of work due to the unique structure of the Central Library • Having specialized knowledge and experience with negative angle overhang conditions and open-air suspension rigging
