Description

The City of Anaheim is seeking bids for the Harbor Boulevard Rehabilitation Project, which involves rehabilitating the roadway by removing and reconstructing the asphalt concrete pavement, crack sealing, and replacing damaged curb, curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveway approaches, and installing a new pedestrian refuge island. The project also includes the replacement and adjustment of utility structures and pull-boxes, traffic detection devices, striping, signage, and pavement markings. The contractor will be required to obtain all necessary permits and arrange for city inspections. The city will issue the permits at no charge to the contractor. • The project requires a 10% bid bond. • The contractor must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. • The contractor must agree to be party to and bound by the Community Workforce Agreement (CWA). • The project involves cold planing, crack sealing, and resurfacing the road with a rubberized asphalt concrete surface course. • The contractor must coordinate with other construction projects in the area to minimize impact to the public. • The contractor must obtain a Right of Way Construction Permit from the City of Anaheim Public Works Department prior to the start of construction.
