Description
Angelo State University is seeking a qualified contractor to support the institution's strategic priority of fostering a culture of innovation and advancing the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across its academic and operational environments. The contractor will provide expert guidance, program development, and implementation support to cultivate a campus-wide culture of innovation, develop and deliver AI literacy initiatives, design and operationalize AI labs, and establish meaningful connections with industry leaders. The contract will be for a period of two years, beginning August 1, 2026, or the last signature date, whichever is later, and ending on July 31, 2028.

• The contractor will be responsible for developing and delivering AI literacy initiatives tailored to faculty, staff, students, and the community.
• The contractor will design and operationalize AI labs that leverage interdisciplinary student talent and provide access to subject-matter experts.

• The contractor will help create an AI ecosystem that will institutionalize innovation practices, empower academic and administrative units to integrate AI into teaching and operations, and create scalable models for experiential learning.
