Description
The Grosse Ile Township School's Board of Education is accepting sealed bids to provide athletic renovations at Grosse Ile Middle School. The proposed work includes site work, drainage, concrete, synthetic turf, dugouts, fencing, scoreboards, and electrical as part of a General Contractor package. The project requires the contractor to visit the site, familiarize themselves with the project layout, and provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the completion of the work. The contractor must also provide a bid bond, performance bond, and payment bond.
Some of the key work items include:
• Site demolition and removal of existing structures
• Installation of new synthetic turf, infill system, and logo
• Furnishing and installation of new pre-engineered metal dugout structures
• Installation of new chainlink fence, backstops, and gates
• Provision of new electrical power systems, including panels, conduit, wire, fixtures, and controls
• Installation of new scoreboards, sponsorship panels, and sound systems
