The General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service is issuing an Expression of Interest (EOI) to locate a leased office space in Portland, Maine. The agency requires a contiguous office area of approximately 5,298–5,509 ABOA square feet, with a designated 2,619 USF of special space for secure vaults, a communications room, and secure storage. Additional mandatory features include 18 secure surface‑level parking spaces for government vehicles, 24/7 HVAC for a server room, a loading dock, freight elevator, and compliance with fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards. The lease must be a fully‑serviced “warm‑lit” shell, located above the 1st floor but not on the top floor (single‑story acceptable), and must not be within 1,000 ft of residential, educational, health, or other prohibited facilities. The full lease term is 180 months (firm term 120 months) with no option term. Interested lessors must submit the required information by 24 September 2026.
