Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified contractor to remove eleven trees and/or stumps located on public right‑of‑way along South 3rd Street, and to perform associated site restoration. The work must be completed within 60 days of contract start, includes utility protection, traffic control (funded by NCDOT), and removal of all debris. The contractor must provide individual firm prices for each tree/stump, demonstrate relevant experience, equipment, insurance, and compliance with E‑Verify and MBE/DBE outreach requirements.
• Remove each tree completely (roots, limbs, foliage) and grind stumps to at least 24 in. depth.
• Back‑fill and compact grinding holes using material generated on‑site; any additional fill supplied at no extra cost.
• Protect underground utilities, adhere to OSHA/traffic‑control standards, and submit weekly progress reports; all debris must be cleared daily.
