Description
The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) is seeking a maintenance agreement for their Digital PCR System. The agreement includes maintenance, inspection, and repair services for the system, with a full on-site complete support plan. The proposed contractor is Bio-Rad, and the justification for sole source is that Bio-Rad is the only known responsible source capable of providing the required services that meet NHGRI's technical, compatibility, and continuity requirements.
• The maintenance agreement includes unlimited repairs, travel, parts, and labor.
• The agreement does not include computer support.
• The system includes an Auto Droplet Generator and Droplet Reader, QX200 Digital PCR Reader, PX1 PCR Plate Sealer, and C1000 Touch with 96 Deep W Rxn Module.
• Bio-Rad has reliably supported NHGRI's operations, demonstrating consistent and timely maintenance and repair performance.
