Description
The City of Valdosta is seeking bids for the purchase of one (1) F-550 Crew Cab DRW with utility body and lift gate. The truck should be a 2025 or newer model, with a minimum 7.3L gasoline engine, and a 6-speed torque-shift automatic transmission. The utility body should be a 9-foot utility body, with an upgraded flasher and light bar installation, and a Tommygate Model G2-541342-38TP 1300 lb. capacity liftgate. The bid should include all options specified, and the price should include delivery to the City of Valdosta.
• The truck should have a bench type 40/20/40 seat with heavy duty vinyl covering, and four full size doors.
• The truck should have a factory installed air conditioning, and a black rubber flooring with Weather Tech mats front and rear.
• The truck should have a Ford Power Equipment Group 90L, and a 150 amp alternator with heavy duty battery.
• The truck should have a cab to axle distance of 60 inches, and a wheelbase that can accept the proposed service body.
• The truck should have heavy duty front and rear axles, with a locking rear differential, and a heavy duty front and rear stabilizer bar.
• The truck should have six LT 245/75RX17E BSW all-terrain tires with steel wheels, and a full-size wheel and spare.
• The truck should have power steering, tilt steering, and telescopic column, and power brakes with all wheel anti-lock brakes.
• The truck should have a fuel capacity of at least 40 gallons, with a single gas tank, and a front steel bumper.
• The truck should have a factory installed exhaust, and an owner's manual.
• The truck should have a Class 5 trailer tow package, and a 7 wire harness integrated to the brake controller.
• The truck should have a trailer brake controller, and two front tow hooks.
