Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) seeks a qualified telecommunications provider to deliver high‑capacity Internet access to roughly 255 school and office sites. The contract requires fiber‑optic connectivity to two MCPS data centers (Rockville and Germantown, MD) with a base bandwidth of 60 Gbps, scalable up to 500 Gbps in 10 Gbps increments. Services must include BGP configuration, 24×7×365 monitoring, DDoS protection (optional or included), and no last‑mile charges to MCPS.
