Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources capable of providing a Special Protein Analyzer system under a Cost Per Test (CPT) lease arrangement. The system must be FDA-approved and fully automated, capable of performing tests for Free Kappa Light Chains, Free Lambda Light Chains, and Cerebrospinal Fluid Immunoglobulin G (IgG CSF). The CPT solution should include instrumentation, reagents, consumables, maintenance, and support for uninterrupted testing operations. Interested parties are invited to submit capability statements addressing their ability to provide the required system, corporate experience, and business size classification. Some key points to consider include: • The system must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local requirements, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards. • The CPT solution should include installation, training, maintenance, and technical support services. • Respondents must provide company name, address, UEI number, and point of contact information in their capability statement. • The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs associated with responses.

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a specific budget or payment amount. However, considering the complexity of the Special Protein Analyzer system and the requirements for maintenance, support, and consumables, the budget could potentially range from $500,000 to $2,000,000. This estimate is based on the assumption that the system will be used for a large-scale operation and will require significant resources for installation, training, and ongoing support. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the size of the contract, the duration of the lease arrangement, and the level of competition among bidders.
