Description
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Hawaii is seeking a highly qualified Architect-Engineer (A-E) firm to provide multi-discipline A-E services for various structural projects. The selected firm will be required to perform a wide range of services, including design-build, design-bid-build, engineering studies, and post-construction award services. The firm must have experience in structural design and engineering services, including preparation of drawings and specifications, and must be familiar with the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command's (NAVFAC) design-build RFP process. The contract will be for a base period of one year, with four one-year option periods, and a six-month option to extend services. The total fee for the contract term shall not exceed $30,000,000, and the guaranteed minimum for the contract term is $3,000.
• The A-E firm will be required to provide services for various structural projects, including piers, wharfs, drydocks, and waterfront structures.
• The firm must have experience in preparing drawings and specifications for design-build and design-bid-build projects.
• The firm must be familiar with the NAVFAC design-build RFP process and have experience in preparing NAVFAC Six-Part Design-Build RFP documentation.
• The firm must have experience in engineering studies, including site engineering investigations, topographical surveys, and geotechnical investigations.
• The firm must have experience in post-construction award services, including technical consultation during construction and review of construction submittals.
