Description
The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) is seeking a vendor to provide content filtering solutions to strengthen its web filtering, reporting, and classroom management capabilities. The selected vendor will work collaboratively with WCPSS technical teams to design and execute a phased migration strategy for the deployment of the Lightspeed filtering solution. The scope of work includes deployment of the filtering solution, support for unmanaged and untrusted devices, DNS configuration, system integration, policy configuration, and post-migration support.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Deployment of the Lightspeed filtering platform across all WCPSS-managed devices
• Support for unmanaged or untrusted devices, including BYOD, OT devices, and guest network connected devices
• Integration with existing identity and rostering systems
• Policy configuration based on user roles and grade levels
• Post-migration support, including technical assistance and troubleshooting, policy tuning and optimization, and regular platform updates and maintenance
