TOS No. 113 - Sepulveda Boulevard Tunnel Near Mulholland Drive Phase 1 Project

The City of Los Angeles is seeking a consulting firm to provide design services for emergency structural repairs at the Sepulveda Boulevard Tunnel. The selected Consultant will prepare plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for the emergency repair, provide technical support during the bid and award phase, and offer design support during construction. The Consultant will also develop a permanent drainage mitigation plan. The project involves removing unsound concrete, patching with structural repair mortar, replacing tiles, and addressing drainage issues. The City encourages the use of alternate materials and methods where beneficial. The Consultant must work closely with the Bureau of Engineering, the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, and the Bureau of Street Services. • The project requires the preparation of 75% and 100% construction documents, including PS&E. • The Consultant must deliver a site investigation report to validate existing conditions. • The Consultant must provide monthly progress reporting and invoicing. • The Consultant must prepare a Quality Assurance/Quality Control plan. • The Consultant must conduct a structural observation of formwork, rebar, and other construction. • The Consultant must prepare record drawings for the construction of the project.
