J065--DC Ceiling Lift Replacement RFQ Ammendment 5

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to provide a Fleet Replacement Acquisition solution for all Ceiling Lifts at Washington DC VAMC. The solution should include labor, personnel, equipment, hardware, parts, rails, accessories, and track systems, as well as training and at least one year of service. The vendor must provide all new ceiling lift motors, tracks, rails, caps, trolley, parts, drawings, accessories, and material solutions to complete the 282 ceiling lift motor and rails installation/adaptive/new installation solution. The vendor must also provide OEM certified parts and service to ensure the warranty is not voided. Some key requirements include: • Providing a comprehensive motor, lift, and rail warranty coverage for at least 3 years • Providing at least one year of preventative maintenance estimate cost and coverage for rails, motors, and lifts • Providing a detailed and comprehensive training plan for end users and bio-med staff • Ensuring the solution meets VA ICRA/PCRA infection control barriers requirements • Providing proof of qualified installers, subcontractor, project manager, service, maintenance, and trainer OEM competency
