181st Safety Improvements - Design

The City of Gresham is seeking a consultant to provide design services for safety improvements on SE 181st Avenue between E Burnside Street and SE Stark Street. The project entails providing ADA pedestrian paths, buffered bike lane, re-striping of vehicular lanes, signalized intersection, enhancing street lighting, and undergrounding of overhead utilities. The selected consultant will be encouraged to make use of preliminary design work, including an AutoCAD Civil 3D existing ground surface based on City survey, that has already been developed for the corridor. Key aspects of the project include: • Providing ADA pedestrian paths • Buffered bike lane • Re-striping of vehicular lanes • Signalized intersection at SE 181st Ave. and SE Pine St. • Enhancing street lighting • Undergrounding of overhead utilities The consultant will be responsible for completing the design work for the project.
