Higher Education Research Services for College of Nursing

The University of Iowa is seeking a supplier to provide higher education research services for the College of Nursing. The successful supplier will work in partnership with the College of Nursing/University to provide services that increase public research institutions' capacity and success in securing research grants. The scope of services includes developing organizational capacity to pursue and win grant funding, identifying and evaluating prospective opportunities, assessing and developing competitive proposals, and providing leadership and consultation on large multi-component programmatic grant proposals. The supplier will also provide access to necessary documents, videos, and training to enhance faculty and staff skill sets. • The University of Iowa is a broad-based public university of international stature with a total enrollment of 32,199 students. • The University of Iowa Health Care is Iowa's comprehensive academic health system, which includes the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, the UI Health Care clinical enterprise, and UI Physicians. • The supplier will be required to sign a University of Iowa Professional Services Agreement (UI-PSA) and comply with all state and federal laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLB). • The supplier will be required to provide audited financial statements and annual reports for the previous two years. • The University reserves the right to change the scope of work as required and to terminate the agreement without penalty if funds are not forthcoming.
