Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified natural‑gas supplier to provide firm, non‑recallable gas, transportation, nomination, scheduling, balancing, reporting and invoicing services for roughly 30 school districts across Rockland, Orange, and Westchester counties. The vendor will deliver 100 % of the actual monthly usage measured at each Local Distribution Company (LDC) citygate, with pricing expressed as an all‑inclusive $/MMBtu citygate basis plus the NYMEX Henry Hub month‑ahead price. Contracts may be for 1‑, 2‑, or 3‑year terms beginning September 1 of the selected year, and include both firm and interruptible rate options. The winning supplier must have the financial capability, experience as a major gas producer or approved market supplier, and must provide a pricing matrix, references, and a designated account manager.
• Provide primary firm gas and optional interruptible gas for all participating school‑district accounts.
• Deliver gas to LDC citygate points, handle nomination, scheduling, balancing, and monthly invoicing based on LDC‑measured usage.
• Offer all‑inclusive pricing (basis price + NYMEX) and specify liquidation fees for early sell‑offs; contracts run 1‑3 years starting Sep 1.
• Must meet financial, experience, and compliance requirements (non‑collusive certification, tax‑exempt handling).
• Bids due 2 June 2026; award expected 3 June 2026; no bond required.
