Description
This solicitation seeks a sole‑source award to Motorola Solutions, Inc. for OEM‑backed extended warranty and maintenance support of existing Motorola Land Mobile Radio (LMR) equipment at Fort Novosel, Alabama, and the Holston Army Ammunition Plant, Tennessee. The effort covers warranty administration, technical support, diagnostics, repair or replacement of covered components, software/firmware updates, licensing, transportation, and full lifecycle management for a base period of one year (Sept 30 2026 – Sept 29 2027) with an option for an additional year. Motorola is the only source with the proprietary data, tools, and authority to fulfill these requirements; a non‑OEM vendor would lack the necessary access and could jeopardize mission‑critical communications.
• Provide OEM‑authorized warranty administration and claim processing.
• Deliver technical support, diagnostics, and repair/replacement of Motorola LMR hardware.
• Supply software/firmware updates and cybersecurity patches under OEM entitlement.
• Manage logistics, shipping, and Return Material Authorization (RMA) processing.
• Maintain licensing and ensure continuous operational readiness of Army LMR systems.
• Contract type: Firm‑Fixed‑Price, sole‑source, with one‑year base period plus one‑year option.
