Description
The Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking bids for snow removal and deicing services at the Illinois Veterans Home in Chicago. The contract will require the vendor to provide all labor, equipment, tools, and supplies necessary to remove snow and ice. The services will include skid steer, pickup truck/salt truck, labor with hand shovel, and calcium or magnesium chloride per bag. The vendor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, ordinances, regulations, orders, federal circulars, and all license and permit requirements.
• The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for additional years.
• The vendor must provide a certificate of insurance naming the State as additionally insured.
• The vendor must comply with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act.
• The vendor must provide warranties for supplies and services.
• The contract is contingent upon and subject to the availability of funds.
