North Street Sewer Improvements Project

The City of Brandon is seeking bids for the North Street Sewer Improvements project, which includes the installation of CIPP lining, CIPP lateral linings, manhole rehabilitation, pump station removal, and all other associated work. The project is funded by a CDBG-PF grant, and the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount. The Contract Time is 120 consecutive calendar days, with liquidated damages of $1,000 per calendar day thereafter. • The project requires the contractor to have a Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. • The contractor must submit a separate attachment stating their qualifications to perform the work, including past projects of similar size and nature, references, and key personnel. • The City of Brandon reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein. • Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities.
