Hauling of Voting Machines for Winn Parish

The Secretary of State's office is seeking a contractor to provide drayage services for the hauling of voting machines and related election materials in Winn Parish. The contract will be for a primary term of approximately 12 months, with options to renew for two additional 12-month periods. The contractor will be responsible for transporting voting machines and related equipment to and from polling places, as well as providing election day services. The contractor must have sufficient equipment and personnel to timely and properly cover, haul, and return all voting machines. • The contractor must provide enclosed trucks and trailers to transport voting machines. • The contractor must have sufficient equipment and personnel to transport all voting machines. • The contractor must provide a performance bond or irrevocable bank letter of credit in the amount of 1.5 times the contract price. • The contractor must have workers' compensation insurance and liability insurance. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to ethics and non-discrimination.
