Description
The Saint Louis County Government is soliciting bids for maintenance and repair services for the ice rink at the Kennedy Recreation Complex. The contract is expected to last for 3 years, with an option for a 2-year renewal. The contractor will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks, responding to service requests, and providing materials and labor as needed. The contractor must have at least 5 years of experience with ammonia systems and must only work with commercial and industrial accounts.
• The contractor will be required to perform semi-annual and annual maintenance tasks, including re-greasing pumps and motors, calibrating ammonia sensors, and inspecting and replacing parts as needed.
• The contractor will be required to respond to service requests within 24 hours, and to provide a work ticket detailing the work completed for each service call.
• The contractor will be paid based on the unit prices listed in the bid, and will be required to provide a written estimate for all repairs, including subcontract work and rental equipment.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, taxes, and environmental protection.
