Engine Water Sample Testing for MH-65E aircraft

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking a contractor to provide engine water sample testing for the MH-65E aircraft. The contractor will be responsible for testing water samples taken from a local source, i.e. county, city, etc. that has been passed through a filtered system. The testing will include parameters such as appearance, chloride, sulfate, sodium, hardness, conductivity at 25°C, pH, and dry residue/total dissolved solids. The contractor will be required to provide final reports within 7 calendar days from the date of receipt of the samples. • The contract will be for a period of 5 years, consisting of a 1-year base period and 4 option periods. • The contractor will be required to provide testing services for approximately 100 samples per year from 17 identified locations and USCG cutters. • The contractor will be required to use appropriate validated ASTM, ISO, or Standard Methods for each parameter. • The contractor will be required to provide a quote for the services, including all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the testing.
