Request for Proposals for Engineering Services for Electric Grid Substation Infrastructure Improvements Project

The Natchez Trace Electric Power Association is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for the Electric Grid Substation Infrastructure Improvements project. The scope of work includes preparing a preliminary cost estimate, preliminary engineering report, plans and specifications, bid documents, and construction inspection. The contract will be awarded to the firm with the highest number of cumulative points based on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. • The project has potential funding from HUD, Appalachian Regional Commission, USDA, and other federal funding agencies. • The engineer will be responsible for performing all engineering services through project closeout. • The Natchez Trace Electric Power Association encourages Minority owned Business Enterprises, Woman owned Business Enterprises, and Section 3 eligible businesses to submit proposals. • Proposals will be evaluated on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. • The contract will be on a fixed price basis and will include the scope and extent of work and other essential requirements.
