Budget estimate

$200,000 – $2,000,000

The program offers matching grants up to 80 % of eligible project costs. Based on typical grant sizes for statewide conservation initiatives, individual awards often range from a few hundred thousand dollars to a few million. Assuming a maximum project cost of $2.5 M, the grant portion could be up to $2 M; smaller projects may receive $200 K–$500 K. Therefore a reasonable estimate for the grant award to a single applicant is $200,000 – $2,000,000, depending on project scope, scale, and matching contributions.
