High School Invitation to bid

The Grosse Ile Township Schools are inviting bids for interior renovations at Grosse Ile High School. The project involves various construction tasks, including selective demolition, concrete work, masonry, structural and miscellaneous steel, general trades, millwork/finish carpentry, roofing, doors/frames/hardware, glazing, overhead doors, ceramic tile, flooring, painting, specialties/accessories, visual display units, lockers, wall and door protection, signage, window treatments, gymnasium equipment, manufactured metal casework, fire protection, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, electrical, low voltage and audio/visual, food service equipment, theater/auditorium: rigging and drapery, theater/auditorium: audio/visual, theater/auditorium: fixed audience seating, theater/auditorium stage construction, and final cleaning. • The bid documents are available for examination and distribution on and after October 30th, 2025, via Building Connected. • There will be two optional pre-bid meetings: a virtual meeting on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, at 2:00 PM local time, and a site visit on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, at 3:00 PM local time. • Bidders must submit their bids through Building Connected, hand delivery, or mail to Grosse Ile Township Schools before the submission deadline. • The successful bidders will be required to enter into a contract with DeMaria Building Company on the agreed form identified in Section 004500 of the Project Manual. • The owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids for just cause and to waive insignificant requirements.
