Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking bids for the construction of a 26x26 slab. The project includes site work, removal of sod, and hauling away debris. The contractor will be responsible for mobilization and providing a pump for pouring the foundation. The delivery location is the Leblanc Unit Maintenance in Beaumont, TX. The contractor must comply with TDCJ security procedures and provide insurance coverage.
• The contractor must provide a payment bond in the amount of the bid for bids over $25,000.
• The contractor must provide insurance coverage, including liability, auto, and worker's compensation.
• The contractor must comply with TDCJ security procedures, including having a security escort when making deliveries to correctional facilities.
• The contractor must not introduce contraband onto any TDCJ facility.
• The contractor must adhere to the provisions found in Personnel Directive PD-29, "Sexual Misconduct with Inmates."
