6 Trash Wheel Loaders

The County of Kern is extending an invitation to bid for 6 new and unused CAT 938 wheel loaders, or equivalent, with a trash package. The units will be delivered in Bakersfield, CA. The bid requires completion of a specification sheet, comply and exception specification sheet, and a quotation request document. The vendor must also provide a W9 with their tax ID and billing information before a Kern County purchase order can be issued. • The wheel loaders must meet specific general specifications, including a front wheel loader with a Tink "Grabber" bucket and 4 3/4 yard bucket capacity. • The operator environment must include an enclosed cab, automatic temperature control, and a multi-view camera integration into an LCD touch screen display. • The engine and powertrain must meet specific requirements, including a 185-hp minimum and automatic performance mode. • The trash package must include a wide fin radiator, auto reversing fan, and particle protection for the radiator. • The vendor must provide a warranty for the equipment and comply with all applicable County, state, and federal laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
