Construction Management and Inspection Services Oro-Quincy Highway at PM 12.2

The County of Butte Department of Public Works is seeking to retain a qualified firm to provide construction management and inspection services for the repair of Oro-Quincy Hwy at Post Mile 12.2. The project involves the removal of the existing failed mechanically stabilized earth wall and associated appurtenances, installation of temporary shoring, construction of new drainage facilities, reconstruction of a new mechanically stabilized earth wall, and repaving and restoration of the affected roadway and guardrail systems. The selected firm will provide oversight and administration of the construction phase, including coordination with Butte County Public Works, the design consultant, the contractor, and regulatory agencies. Key responsibilities include: • Providing overall project coordination and project team management • Maintaining project files and documentation • Coordinating materials testing and quality assurance • Providing construction inspection services • Maintaining a safe work site and ensuring compliance with safety regulations • Preparing monthly progress payments and reports The County is looking for a firm with experience in similar projects, particularly those involving construction management and inspection services for public works projects. The firm should have a strong understanding of federal and state procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
