Description
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Aviation Division is seeking bids to procure four Skydio “Drone‑in‑a‑Box” (DIAB) units for rapid aerial reconnaissance during flood events and other natural disasters in the Eastern NC (Lumberton) region. Two units will be installed permanently at NCDOT facilities; the other two will be mounted on mobile trailers for pre‑positioned rapid deployment. The system includes hardware, software, cloud data transfer, and ongoing maintenance. Deliverables include installation, integration with NCDOT servers, and compliance with Gov‑RAMP/FedRAMP security standards.
