Landscaping Maintenance, Irrigation System Maintenance, and Irrigation System Minor Repairs

The National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) is seeking potential subcontracting companies to provide landscape maintenance, irrigation system maintenance, and irrigation system minor repairs. The project objective is to preserve and maintain the campus open space areas, minimize negative environmental impacts, and maximize the efficient use of resources. The subcontractor will be responsible for performing various landscaping and irrigation services, monitoring landscape areas, and identifying emerging issues. The subcontractor must comply with all laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth by NLR, the State of Colorado, and the Federal Government. Some key points to consider: • The project requires the subcontractor to have experience with federally funded projects and to be knowledgeable about challenging schedules on project delivery. • The subcontractor must demonstrate a local business presence in the Denver Metropolitan area. • The subcontractor will be required to submit a capabilities statement that provides a narrative of their expertise with projects of similar scope, size, and complexity. • The subcontractor must comply with all requirements of the Colorado Air Pollution Control Division (APCD) Regulation No. 29, which strongly prefers the use of electric equipment. • The project has a base period of performance totaling 12 months, with four one-year option periods, totaling 60 months if all options are exercised.
