Description
The Federal Highway Administration is seeking a contractor to provide a fully integrated geophysical testing system, including a Geode Exploration Seismograph, geophones, seismic spread cable, and land streamer. The system must meet specific technical compatibility metrics and be compatible with the Geode Exploration Seismograph manufactured by Geometrics. The contractor must provide firm-fixed pricing for all items listed in the CLIN chart. The equipment must be delivered fully functional within 60 days after receipt of order.
• The Geode Exploration Seismograph must have a 24-channel configuration and 20 kHz bandwidth capability.
• The geophones must have a 4.5 Hz frequency, vertical orientation, and be mounted with galvanized metal ground spikes.
• The seismic spread cable must have a 24-channel telemetry configuration and 10-foot minimum lead-in and lead-out cable lengths.
• The land streamer must be a 24-channel towed system with 24 dedicated geophones installed.
