City of Scranton 2026 Demolition Package #1

The City of Scranton is seeking separate sealed bids for the demolition of four residential structures. The contractor will be responsible for pulling permits, demolishing the properties, capping main sewer drains, breaking up concrete flooring, clearing brush, and seeding and hay-ing the areas. The contract will remain in effect until the satisfactory completion of the project. • The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in demolition services. • The contractor must provide a bid bond of 10% of the contract amount. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance coverage, including worker's compensation, employer's liability, and comprehensive general liability. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to affirmative action and non-discrimination.
