Building Repairs & Renovation Services (Downtown)

The Hennepin County Facility Services is seeking a contractor to provide building repair and renovation services at various downtown Hennepin County facilities. The scope of work includes general building repairs, minor renovations, carpentry, drywall, finishes, and other work normally under the management of a general construction contractor. The contractor will be responsible for supplying supervision, labor, parts, materials, equipment, and oversight to carry out the work on an as-needed basis. The contract will be for a base period of three years with two optional one-year extensions. The county is looking for a contractor with experience in providing similar services, a strong safety record, and the ability to self-perform all primary work. Key highlights of the project include: * The contract will be awarded to the highest scoring responsible proposer that submitted a responsive proposal. * The contractor must have at least eight years of experience in providing building repair and renovation services. * The contractor must be registered with the Minnesota Secretary of State under the same name submitted in the proposal for a minimum of eight years. * The contractor must provide a cost proposal for all items listed on the cost proposal worksheet. * The contractor must have a strong safety record and the ability to self-perform all primary work.
