Description
The Washington County Public Works Department is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide project coordination, final design, and construction‑document services for the CSAH 10/CSAH 17/CR 17B intersection improvement in Lake Elmo, MN. The scope includes detailed engineering, utility coordination, storm‑water design, permitting support, construction‑staging plans, and assistance with bidding and construction phases. The consultant will manage bi‑monthly project‑team meetings, produce 90 % and 100 % design submittals, develop cost estimates, and ensure compliance with MnDOT, county, and city standards. The contract runs from Fall 2026 (design kickoff) through Fall 2027 (final design completion), with subsequent bidding in early 2028.
• Deliver 90 % and 100 % design packages and final construction documents
• Coordinate utilities, storm‑water, and right‑of‑way acquisition
• Lead permitting (MPCA, watershed district) and prepare NPDES/ SWPPP applications
• Provide construction staging and detour planning workshops
• Support bid preparation, shop‑drawing review, and as‑built documentation
• Maintain a Quality Management Plan and regular reporting to the County’s Project Management Team.
