Secrest Exterior Pool Refresh 26-7205

The Apex Park and Recreation District is seeking a contractor to refresh the exterior pool at the Secrest Recreation Center. The scope of work includes removing and replacing the entire pool's plaster surface, repainting lane markings, providing exit ladder steps, and removing and replacing tile markers and depth marker tiles. The contractor will also be responsible for removing and reinstalling play features and providing new replacements if any are damaged or stolen during the project. • Remove and replace 7,833 sq.ft. of pool floor and wall plaster • Repaint lane markings on pool floor and walls • Provide exit ladder steps in-set in walls • Provide anchor points for new slide landing mat, main drains, and shallow depth grate • Remove and replace tile markers in 3’ depth and Deep End section • Remove and replace tile on coping in zero depth • Remove and replace depth marker tiles in zero depth with properly sized tiles according to MAHC • Remove and reinstall play features as needed The project requires a contractor's license, employee background checks, installation, and insurance. A bid bond of 3%, a performance bond of 100%, and a retainage of 5% are also required.
