Description
The VA South Texas Veterans Health Care System seeks a qualified service provider to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and full‑time support for two government‑owned Osmo Pro Osmol laboratory analyzers. The contract runs for seven months and requires a certified Advanced Instruments field service engineer, 24/7 phone support, same‑day on‑site repair, and a loaner instrument if both units fail.
• One annual onsite preventive‑maintenance visit for each instrument.
• Unlimited 24/7 telephone technical support and same‑day on‑site repair when both units are down.
• Provision of a loaner Osmo Pro instrument if both are non‑operational.
• All work must comply with AABB, CAP, and VHA Handbook 1106.1 standards; no inherently governmental functions may be performed.
• Vendor must supply an authorized‑third‑party distributor letter from Advanced Instruments and be SAM‑registered; SDVOSB/VOSB verification required for Veterans First program eligibility.
