Description
The County of San Mateo is seeking a contractor to install a live-feed camera at the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve for seal monitoring. The camera system should be able to provide a live feed 24/7 with a minimum of 95% uptime and have low-light and night-vision capability. The contractor will be responsible for installing the camera, configuring the system, and providing training to park staff. The contract will have a term of 3 years with two optional 1-year extensions.
• The camera system should be outdoor-rated and weatherproof.
• The system should have a Wi-Fi receiver and be powered by an on-site battery bank charged through solar panels.
• The contractor should provide system configuration documentation and training to park staff.
• The contractor should test the system's connectivity, camera control, and live-stream performance before final acceptance.
